This was a blouse that I spotted on Asos which I thought would be perfect for work. It is light and comfortable which is something that I deem as hella important for work; it also goes perfectly with my main colour choice which is always monochrome. Despite it being mainly a work purchase, I also think it works nicely when paired with my staple JONI jeans and block heel boots. It is a nice classic look which is something a bit different from my previous, more casual, lookbooks. As for the cut, at first I believed I looked very much like a potato – I tend to go more towards fitted blouses as my waist is my smallest part of me. However, it is nice to have a more wide style blouse as, for my bloated days, it is the perfect hiding top – goodbye muffin top, you cannot be seen now! This stripe blouse is a great edition to my collection and has been a staple for my work wardrobe. I think it will be even more worn once the weather heats up a bit as, here in the UK, it has been pretty sh*t. The only issue I have is that the sleeveless quality of the blouse can be great for when I am warm but normally my office has the arctic air con on which makes this pretty useless. It doesn’t take away from its beauty though and I will for sure wear it out of the office! I also need to do a slight call out, away from my stripe blouse, and towards my beautiful Topshop bag which I purchased for work. It is so classic and stylish, not to mention it goes with everything and fits everything I need into it.
