This t-shirt from asos had been sitting in my saved items for a little while until I decided to cave and order it for the upcoming summer months. Whilst I have a pretty extensive t-shirt collection, it mainly consists of the usual basic style tops with just one colour (usually either black, white or grey ~ holla monochrome hobbie). So this t-shirt is something new to shake-up and brighten my summer wardrobe. I love the pastel pink/red/orange stripes and I think this adds a great aesthetic to what is a simple t-shirt. Also, the edition of the GRL PWR statement is just so cute and I feel pretty sassy whenever I have worn this little number out. In terms of styling it, I knew that this asos lookbook would be a brighter one than usual as I don’t tend to wear colours like these; I am a loather of summer styling and much prefer the cooler and darker tones of winter. However, I don’t think this casual asos lookbook has turned out that bad as the pink hues in the t-shirt pair well with the basic blue denim shorts and the clean white trainers. It is the perfect outfit for the summer as it is light and breathable; I am rather pleased with myself; look at me being all embrace the summer … it won’t last long though as I hate being hot and sweaty and I am sorry but chub rub is the definition of hell on earth!
As for the last photo, I had to add it to the post as is it not the definition of summer and sunglasses? You put them on your head for two seconds and, bam, they are all tangled and knotted in your hair like a b*tch.
