So, for a while now I have been really wanting to add a denim jacket to my wardrobe. After receiving an email through in my inbox from Forever 21, I decided to have a little browse on there to see if anything took my fancy. As soon as I saw this oversized denim jacket I knew it was the one.
Now, Forever 21 was really disappointing to me on delivery. It might have been because I ordered at a really busy time with their free delivery offer but it took about two weeks for me to receive my order and they did not even update me on how the order was progressing; I had to inbox them myself and even then their response time on twitter was pretty slow and horrific. I wanted to cancel the order as, a week in, and I had still not received the “despatch” email which usually arrives the next day or two after placing the order! It was all a complete hassle and I ended up not even receiving my jacket for when I had wanted it for – all in all I will stick to just buying Forever 21 items whenever I go into the store in London as I do not trust their online service as it took too long and was a pain in the ass.
Anyway, the jacket is great regardless of how long it took to get here. I would say I have been wearing it non-stop as it is lightweight and perfect for the summer months; especially the British summer as it cannot seem to make it’s mind up at the moment whether it is going to be sunny or overcast. Paired with an all black ensemble because, after all, this is me we are talking about, this is a staple look. I also saw this as the perfect opportunity to whip out my new boots from Asos which I managed to buy on sale for around £27 or so. They have a beautiful wooden heel and look pretty great – I love a black heeled boots more than anything else in the world so this touch of wood is a unique spin on something so essential to me.
