Never heard of IT cosmetics? Don’t worry, I hadn’t either. These lovely beauty products were a gift from my Mum who, from her addiction to QVC which I may or may not have inherited, saw them on the TV and decided they would be perfect for me to try out. I have always had problems with bags under my eyes and I am always on the look out for wonderful products which help combat this; I may have just found my holy grail. I am talking holier than my current holy grail of Benefit concealers.
Bye Bye Under Eye concealer
This product has definitely been one of those ones which has grown on me. At first, I was not too sure on the formula and application as it felt very heavy and hard to blend. However, once I worked out the best way to use it, it has become the ultimate under eye concealer for those pesky dark circles. What I discovered was that I needed to apply the product straight onto my face as opposed to on the back of my hand and then onto my face. When I used it on my hand, it was hard to transfer from my hand and onto my eyes without wasting the product. Now, I have found that the precise nib is great for really placing the product where I want it under my eyes. I usually do a sort of “cat whiskers” pattern which I then blend in the with brush which came with the set from QVC. For the introductory price of £23.64, you really could not go wrong and I am ridiculously impressed. The best thing about this product is that it actually stays in place all day! I usually have to reapply my Benefit concealers at least once during the day. But with Bye Bye Under Eye, I no longer have to! Honestly, if you have troubles with dark circles then you really should give this concealer a go as it has worked wonders for me.
Hello Lashes mascara
This was the one I was mostly apprehensive about as I am huge cheerleader for the Benefit mascaras. You only have to read my Battle of the Benefit Mascaras post to see how obsessed I am with them all. However, this nifty little mascara has really surprised me and proven itself to be a great product. The brush itself is one of my favourites from any mascara. Reminiscent of They’re Real, the brush has a lash ball detailer top which ensure you coat all of the lashes for a dramatic, volumised look. I also love how hydrating and nourishing the mascara itself is; whenever I have to take They’re Real or Rollerlash off at the end of the day, my lashes really feel dry and clumped. With Hello Lashes, my eyelashes still feel great without losing any volume or dramatic effect. I also think that this brush is the most perfect one I have for really getting those under eye lashes.
I am so impressed with both the concealer and the mascara from IT cosmetics. As you can see in the photo above, the difference in my lashes before and after is definitely noticeable – and this was only one coat of the mascara! Also, my dark circles have drastically been covered; it is difficult to get rid of my puffy eyes but it is lovely to finally be rid of my dark circles. If you haven’t heard of IT cosmetics then I am happy you know about them now and I would definitely recommend them as a brand to check out.
